Amanda + Ginny's Puffin Proposal // Newfoundland Photographer

Two years ago, Amanda and Ginny saw a documentary down home in the United States about a puffin rescue group here in Newfoundland, called Puffin & Petrel Patrol NL

Volunteering for this organization would eventually lead the ladies all the way from Virginia to our beautiful island. Little did Ginny know, a proposal had been planned, with me secretly in tow to capture it!!

When the day of the proposal came, I played the part of a camera-enthusiastic tourist pretty well on the Gatherall's Boat Tour ;) After hiding in plain sight for a while, which enabled me to photograph the couple secretly, Amanda popped the question after Ginny released a puffin. A whole boatload of people got to watch these beautiful souls get engaged on the open sea and it was PERFECT.

Once Ginny said yes, all the plans were of course revealed, and the three of us continued the day with a Rocket Bakery picnic (YUM) and adventure at Cape Spear.

Thank you Amanda & Ginny for being such incredible, loving humans and spending your happy day with all of us here on the rock!

**THEIR STORY WAS FEATURED ON CBC NL ALONGSIDE MY PHOTOS FROM THE DAY!**
